Lark Router Overview

< 1 min read

The Lark Router is a messaging gateway that allows organizations to route SMS and MMS messages between messaging providers using a variety of message protocols.

There are two kinds of messaging providers in the Lark Router ecosystem: clients, who are typically applications that originate mobile terminating (MT) messages, sending them through the gateway and also receive mobile originating (MO) and delivery reports (DLR) from Lark, and suppliers, who send mobile originating (MO) message to the gateway and also receive MT messages from the gateway, deliver them to subscribers, and send back DLR to the gateway.
